Santa Ursula High School's Student Council has taken a remarkable step towards fostering a more inclusive and supportive learning environment with the introduction of the SAGU (Sanur Assistance and Guidance) program. This innovative initiative is designed to empower incoming students by providing them with invaluable assistance in navigating the intricacies of their new school life. Under the SAGU program, these fresh faces will have the chance to connect with dedicated SAGU assistants who will not only help them acclimate to the school's surroundings but also serve as a vital resource for any academic queries, ensuring that no question goes unanswered on their educational journey. Santa Ursula High School continues to prove its commitment to student success and community spirit with programs like SAGU.

SAGU, which stands for Sanur Assistance and Guidance, is a mentoring program aimed at grade X students at Santa Ursula High School Jakarta. The program is provided by students in grades XI and XII who have an essential role as SAGU tutors. The main task of the SAGU tutors is to introduce the activities, school environment, and customs at Santa Ursula High School Jakarta to the grade X students. In addition, they are also expected to guide and assist the grade X students in their adaptation process to the new school environment as well as in their academic journey. The SAGU program aims to help grade X students to feel more comfortable and assist in facing the challenges that they may face in the early days of schooling at Santa Ursula High School Jakarta.For the implementation of SAGU activities, the location is very flexible and can be determined by each group as needed. SAGU activities can be carried out during recess or after school in the school environment itself. In addition, this activity can also be carried out outside of school by utilizing various online applications such as Zoom and Google Meet, which are currently available. When learning is conducted online, SAGU activities will be organized online. However, when there is a transition from online learning back to face-to-face learning, SAGU activities can be conducted both online and face-to-face according to the situation and needs.SAGU was first held in 2021, so this is the third year that SAGU activities have been carried out. The goal is for 10th students, especially those who are new to the Sanur High School environment, to be able to adapt, so the tutor helps introduce what Sanur is like what is available, and how to deal with various things in Sanur so that they have an idea of what they will face for the next 3 years.In terms of SAGU tutors, the effect is that they get insight into Sanur. starting from activities, what the environment is like what they might face, tips and tricks so they can be better prepared and they become more open to things in Sanur that they might not have known before. From the 10th grade side: SAGU really helped us in adjusting to the new environment, not only getting briefings. During SAGU activities we often have dynamics with tutors through games, through SAGU we also get reinforcement of the rules that are often still violated.In the future, the SAGU Program (Sanur Assistance and Guidance) is poised to play a pivotal role in aiding grade 10 students in navigating the intricate tapestry of school customs and regulations at Santa Ursula High School Jakarta. As an invaluable resource, SAGU will not only serve as companions but also as staunch supporters and trusted advisors, drawing from the wealth of experience possessed by the dedicated tutors. Through this program, students will find a reliable compass to steer them through their academic journey, fostering an environment where both learning and personal growth can flourish seamlessly.
